It's been a While now.
A lot of water has passed through Mumbai (and Bangalore for that matter) since my last post. Since then, I have come back to India, Moved back to Bangalore, Found a place to share with two other project members, my project transition has happened to India and I am working from Bangalore now.
It sure has been one hell of a hectic last 2 months or so. I have had a lot of fun going places and learning new things at work. There hasn't been a single moment that I can remember of, when I have had any idle time. Or even time to think about Personal stuff. But the Onset of the Festive season has got me back to that mode now. This time of the year is usually my favourite. It's when You get to enjoy the festivities, the weather gets better and you know that the Onset of another New year is round the corner.
However, Spending a Diwali away from Family and Friends does make you feel a bit lonely. The only plus has been the weather in Bangalore; minus the rain of course. Thankfully, the rains stayed away on Diwali day, allowing the kids in the bylane that I live in to enjoy the pyrotechnic displays. It feels a bit strange to be living in a place that's not a seven storeyed building with more similar buildings around you. The narrow Bylanes that lead you off the main road take you inwards to a row of two storeyed houses. A very common sight is a row of clothesline seen hanging on the rooftop of all these houses. The neighbourhood is full of smalltime snack places treating you to the most delectable south Indian Snacks and tiny cups of refreshing coffee;). The Bangalore traffic is however, driving me mad. Disorganised is the only thing that comes to my mind.
It' s been only a month since I've come back and already I'm having that urge to take a weekend flight back home to Mumbai. But the thought that spending only a day with family or Friends will leave me craving for more keeps me away from doing that:)
