Yeah! It's been that kind of a week. Work has been Uninspiring and I have been getting into all kindsa arguments with my client. Nothing Serious...But puts you off nonetheless.
This Week, one more colleague of mine was assigned to this project and he arrived in Bangalore. He will be staying with us. And he bought an Original Swades DVD with him :) I was pleasantly Suprised. I still remember last year around this same time, when I saw the Movie at Fame Adlabs on a Lazy Sunday. There was nothing pretentious about this movie and maybe that's why I liked it a lot. I mean how many Hindi movies do you get in a year that have some message or Ideals? (It's usually either a cheating husband or Outright nonsense Action stuff). And although, Rehman doesn't create magic with Swades' music, still, hat's off to him. He manages to create the North Indian Village feel to it. That's some versatility. Although, he never needs a Super hit to maintain his credibility, It's time he came up with something special. I don't think he's had any Hindi hits after Lagaan and Saathiya, has he?
Music is keeping me good company in Bangalore. Bless the people who created Ipods and players alike. Recently I have been listening to Remixes from The BED LOUNGE. Before you form any kind of opininons, let me say that this album makes a lot of sense...unlike the DJ Doll Remixes;) I love 'Kya Khoob Lagti..", "Teri chaaht" and 'Meri nazar". try them.
Hope to chill out this weekend. And a bit of reading too. Let's see how it turns out.

dj suketu's refreshing lounge mixes r on my list too these days...recently had an oppotunity to get in touch wid him at a TOI/mumbai mirror dj nite party...however his live dj sessions were damp squib!...nevertheless, his supercool effervescent persona managed to hold da junta's attention!
have a gr8 weekend...
Yes Bohemian,
This album is particularly good. TOI Party? That's Page 3 Stuff...cool!
i still love bed lounge. Esp teri chaahat, kya khoob, bin tere sanam and pyaar zindagi hai. One of the few decent remix albums among the hundreds of shitty ones.
Yea buddy ... I remember watching SWADES wid u. Even I enjoyed the movie. And I remember you saw it twice ... contrary to my advice!!
Hardy,
You know why i saw it twice , right? ;)
